Hong Kong Carbon Exchange? [1]

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange announced a feasibility study into the viability of trading emission related products would be complete in April 2008, with planning for implementation to be in place by December. This taps into the Clean Development Mechanism carbon emission credits coming from China, which provides over 60% of the credits in the global scheme. Such plans had previously been touted in a similar agreement with Guangdong province in 2006.
